Semester 1 2088 - Swimming
During term 1, the children from cycles 2 and 3 participate in a 7 or 8 week off site swimming program. The Swimming Program for Prep children takes place in term 4 when they have developed a little more independence. During these sessions the children learn and practise basic stroke techniques and are involved in water safety and survival activities. The Swimming Program finishes off with a session of fun and games in the final week. Children from cycles 2 and 3 also have the opportunity to participate in the Plenty District Swimming Competition in Term 1.
