Seasonal Calendar | Ecological Footprint | Wildlife Corridor Project
Plenty Valley Montessori School has a strong commitment to educate the children about caring for the environment and about how they can make a difference. Being on a five acre site gives us a unique opportunity to contribute to the environment in a very positive manner. The school is also linked into the Banyule City Council Wildlife_Corridor_Project. We have worked with environment officers from the Council to plant out indigenous areas and plan to continue this work as part of the master plan. Our aim is to increase the biodiversity within the school grounds, to reduce the run off and to develop systems to harvest water for use in drier months.
